Countdown

Now I feel like the real countdown to going to CHOBLC (CHaplian's Officer Basic Leadership Course) begins. Much needs to be done, and we have only two months to do it. Here are some examples of the things we need to do before June arrives:
* make a "Deployment Guide" for my family (this is a book with important numbers to call in case of emergencies, instructions on how to work things like computers and VCR's, and other things like that)
* financial details need to be put in line at our bank
* I am making a video tape of myself doing devotionals for my kids and transferring them to DVD
* and other things like that

I had a good run this morning. All the details of wrapping things up before leaving the church and finally moving to Arkansas allowed little time to consistently pursue PT. The town where we live has an awesome running trail that is paved and winds its way through a good portion of the town. Since Spring has arrived, the scenery is gorgeous. I ran for a total of 31 minutes this morning: good for 3 plus miles I figure. It is the third day this week I have run.

Glad you can finally focus on your military career but you can come back to A.B.C. for a visit any time.

That trail sounds really great! It sounds as if you are going to be busy for the next two months. I love the idea of recording the devotions for your children. That will be a great comfort not only for them but for you too! With prayers and love, Mom and Dad

Actually, I think I have figured out a way to pack all of you up and take you with me. It involves a lot of suitcases, and...is this the right way to spell contortionist?

TO MOM AND DAD
Mom, you would love this trail. It practically winds all the way through town. Right now since all the trees are budding and the grass is green, it is really incredible.

Oh come on BroKen - I can barely get up off the floor these days and you're gonna stuff me in a suitcase!!! Can't I just ride my new bike? Which brigns up the question,"Are you taking us all to Arkansas, Kansas or Iraq? (I might need a boat!)

I was going to say...if you want to ride your bike to where I will be going...you had better get some oversized tires...

and some shark repellant for the trip over.
